At Icy Hollow, we support and participate in various community service projects. We encourage everyone and every company to do the same, particularly when it comes to our parks and environment. Below are some of the projects and organizations we support.

Beach Clean up Project
Icy Hollow is partnering with the LI Mahonkas camping club to organize a beach clean up. This will be done in conjunction with the American Littoral Society's 2009 Annual International Coastal Cleanup. The beach clean up will take place in September. We have chosen a Long Island beach associated with a campground. Details will be announced in the coming months.
Please help us in this very important project. If you would like to join us in this effort, please submit your name and contact information and we will send you additional information as it becomes available.
This is a great project for students needing to earn community service points for school, scouting or scholarships. Help us to preserve our campgrounds.

Promoting Camping
Icy Hollow Rentals & Services has been participating in town fairs and festivals to promote camping along with our services. This fall we handed out thousands of brochures on campgrounds, camping, forest fire prevention, protection of the lands we use and other related information. This was a very rewarding effort and allowed us to speak with and give advise to many people about camping. Look for us at other events in the future.
If you are responsible for organizing an event, please add us to your mailing list, we would love to participate.

The Ridge Fire Department, Company One has used one of our larger gear / equipment trailers to carry Santa's sled for the past few years.
If you live in the area and were fortunate enough to get photos of the float or parade, please send them to us and we will post them on our site. Here are a few photos from the 2007 santa ride.
